Recommendations

I have some good recommendations for ma readers. I went for a trip lat year and wanted to post this for a veryyyyyyyyyyyyyyy long time. If you happen, and I mean you really got the chance to visit China, please proceed to Shen Zhen (深圳). Go try out the seafood (very cheap) and accomondation (peace of mind) there. It's worth it. Situated a few KM from the seaside, you can have a bird's eye view on higher levels in the apartment. Select your destination either 大梅沙;Dai Mui Sa or 小梅沙; Siu Mui Sa(Huge Plum Sand or Small Plum Sand). Not sure why such name was tabbed on these places.

I approached 小梅沙 (Small Plum Sand) and there's an Ocean Park (China version of Hong Kong's Ocean Park) not far from the place I stayed, around 5 minutes? Well there're quite a number of accomondations there and we selected the following...

Day View

Nearby Mountainside just like our Santubong. I found this place more relaxing than our own Santubong or Damai Beach ler... Y not build somthing like that and the refirmish the landsacape....

The men-made lake and park was tremendous. Take note of that tower far away. It's the tower of light and every year there're going to be some events happening. The time I went was packed due to China's independence day. Movie makers also shoot their films here.

Another bird's eye view in the morning.

Looking down the pathways. Design is authentic.

Mini Wooden Bridge with fountain flows

Indoor View

The interior view and living room

Balcony B. I have no idea what this section is for. Rinsing?

And there is the main door as well as Dining table. Looks like indoor picnic eh?

Oh my bedroom! The bed is soft and comfortable.

Night View

The night view. It's preety silent and the best time to cycle!!!! Beware of vehicle and thief.

The event tower. A party was held over there. I still remember I can feel the beat of trance. T.T don have the chance to join...

YIEKS! My Perut!
You rarely can get public transport over here except for taxis and rented vans. The destination between this place (小梅沙) and the city (深圳) is 30-45 mins, about 50-60km depends on speed. I still remember I rented a van (whole day) for ¥500. Damn expensive! But okay la... share share! kekek...

The price of this rented apartment for a day is USD$150+ Okay la... best spot for lovers..... kekeke!

Something Not Satisfied!!!!!!!!!!!

I got this news from YTL Community Newsletter. When I read it, I closed my eyes and shooke my head. This question came to me....

Why the hell Capital would invest such value into Johore District? Is it because nearby Singapore. If Singapore is nearby Sarawak, will they do the same thing as well?

The following are the NOT so interesting and NOT so satisfied passage...

KL unveils details of S$6.5b plan for Johor

At its weekly meeting yesterday, the Cabinet 'viewed positively' the
bullet train proposal by infrastructure group YTL, Prime Minister Datuk
Seri Abdullah Ahmad Badawi said in a statement posted on his website.

Straits Times Interactive, 3 August 2006

Projects will include waterfront city, theme park and medical hub

By Malaysia Bureau Chief, Reme Ahmad

KUALA LUMPUR - MALAYSIA yesterday unveiled details of a massive RM15
billion (S$6.5 billion) development plan for southern Johor that will be
personally overseen by Prime Minister Abdullah Badawi.

Called the South Johor Economic Region, or SJER, the 2,217 sq km area -
about three times the size of Singapore - envelops most of southern
Johor.

Political observers are calling the plan 'Abdullah's Langkawi',
likening it to former premier Mahathir Mohamad's pet project for the
development of Langkawi from a backwater island to a tourist magnet.

The SJER development will be anchored by the 'logistics triangle' of
Senai Airport in the north, the Port of Tanjung Pelepas in the south-west
and the Johor Port in Pasir Gudang in the south-east.

At its centre is state capital Johor Baru.

Among projects planned for the SJER are an international theme park, a
waterfront city, a medical hub and educational facilities, according to
a statement from state investment fund Khazanah Nasional.

Although sketches of southern Johor's redevelopment have been revealed
over the past few months, the Khazanah statement was the first time an
official map of the area was released, along with further details of
the projects.

The detailed masterplan is expected before the end of the year.

Datuk Seri Abdullah had announced over the weekend that a new
administrative centre for Johor and two high-tech hubs would also be built in
the SJER.

He said that when fully developed, the area could be compared to Hong
Kong or Shenzhen in China.

'Let me stress that this is my idea. It did not come from anyone else.
It is my own vision and plan to create this super corridor in south
Johor to make it the nation's premier growth centre,' he said on Sunday.

Officials have said privately that the southern Johor region hopes to
ride on the growth of tourists from Singapore to boost the development.

A possible added attraction is a proposed RM8 billion Kuala
Lumpur-Singapore bullet train project that would pass through the area.

At its weekly meeting yesterday, the Cabinet 'viewed positively' the
bullet train proposal by infrastructure group YTL, Datuk Seri Abdullah
said in a statement posted on his website.

The Cabinet also approved plans to build a monorail for Penang and a
second bridge to link Penang to mainland Peninsula Malaysia.

The SJER and the two Penang projects are also seen by political
observers as Datuk Seri Abdullah's answer to critics, including within his own
party, that his three-year administration lacked headline-grabbing mega
projects.

The announcements could help reduce flak for him as Umno's 191
divisions start their annual meetings today because many businessmen in the
party look to the government for business contracts. The SJER announcement
followed his soothing of Umno feathers two weeks ago when he unveiled
880 government projects up for tender throughout the country, worth
another RM15 billion.

The annual meetings are watched closely this year because Umno elders
want to control backlash from its three million members over the
relentless attack on the Abdullah administration by Tun Dr Mahathir.

The Penang monorail and second bridge projects, along with some of the
SJER projects, would be privately financed. This is a plus point for a
government that is still trying to balance the federal budget deficit.

Datuk Seri Abdullah is scheduled to visit Johor on Aug 14, where he is
expected to announce further details of the SJER.

Back to the topic... Singapore has now move forward on their huge development on Sentosa IR (Intergrated Resort), and Marina Bayfront Site which would be Asia's largest Casino and luxury Sturcture of all times. The unusual behavior between Malaysia and Singapore is to grab as many visitors as they can so as to boost their economy in long term basis. Earlier news claiming Johore had plans on developing Disneyland in the state acquainting license from the Japan based Disneyland (ASIA). But what they are claiming was, Johore was not their desire destination and they have no plans on that area, instead they are more intersted on implementing Disneyland into Singapore in which Singapore failed to fulfill their request back in the 90s'. Given this, in order to have a better image on this Johore state, Capital of KL simply throw the large amount of investment / scheme into this state in order to "Look Better and attract people's attention".

"Personal Opinion : A small country is simply much easier to develope than big ones since the land is limited and professionals implemented around the globe."

Marina Sands Proposal

Sentosa IR

Why our state, Sarawak is always back to the 80s' and not so much improvement after all? Didn't the government in Kuala Lumpur understand what we need? If tourists is the core line of improving one country's economic, why not make use of the available resources in Sarawak. In Sarawak, we have lands, WIDE LANDS but all developers do was building up a 2-3 storey shop houses. And some more MIRI was UPGRADED to a city years back where in Sarawak you will have more scopes on developing sky-scrappers and bring in new businesses from across the globe. But the west Malaysia simply turned over and unforseen the accounts over here, instead they just think of intergrating thier part and left the east to drill resources for them. NOT FAIR!!!!!!

Remembrance

It is the month of hungry GhOoooost festival. In the Chinese tradition, the 7th month in the Chinese calendar is called the Ghost Month (鬼月) and you defintely don't want these souls to mess up with you!

You may notice a lot of chinese preparing ritual offerings on the roadside, pathways or even in front of their house / bus stop. Somehow it may get very irritating when you stepped on the "leftovers". YUCKS! Moreover, hell notes are everywhere and you feel like you're stepping in a land of the dead. MmmmMmmmm....
Perhaps the chinese believe what is it like to have their loved ones (who past away) to have a good life down there or up there. But some offerings are given to the "wild souls" out there. Preety complicated they have this big brother and small brother. "兄弟" as we called in chinese.

This event flash up my memory on my grandpa who passed away last year (around my birthday). Well he is old enough to leave this world but I do miss him, and my mother's side (both grandparents passed away too) as well. When I was a kid, they always gave me an AngPao of RM50 (not much but it's really delighted to have free "salary" during school period) on every chinse new year. I'm grown now and the Ang Pao just faded away like that.

On the funeral day of my grandpa, a lot of ritual stuff are being done. As a catholic, I do respect their culture. By right, I am not allowed to handle jostick. But you know... it's your loved ones and all your family members are buddhism, well, exception allowed for this "special" day. But my uncle (from Baptist church instead, represent flower and deny jostick) No interfere with others religion but to respect both parties and freedom ar... So some of my uncles and auntys *rolled eyes* on my uncle's family and said something teasing. HmmmMmMmm....

The ceremony were complicated with a bit of this and a bit of that. Am quite tiring on that time as we're awake for 48 hrs. I weeped on that morning before the funeral, onguard of his coffin though... I was aspecting "something" that my eyes or even my dreams could see but not my luck on that night. Ever since my grandpa past away, my family members always stroke 4d or toto. NO IDEA!!! My father la.... my uncle la... my mother la.... MY BROTHER LA... my aunty la.... all won some pocke money after 2-3 months. I have NO LUCK on it though...

Well, the following pics might be disturbing for you and if you don't want 2 see, you can close this browser by now. Till then....

We took a lot of photos for this funeral and those photos are for me to trim and designed into video platform to be delivered to China for my grandpa's Other family. He had 2 wives in his life. 1 past away in china, and the present 1 is my grandma. The funeral process and the after 100 days routine are all included. Hope they appreciate and like my trim.

bouquet of flower stands from business people and friends.

"Lim Teh" ceremonial.

Pour the tea on the ground. In chinese religion, this event means respecing the eldar and a fincal cup of tea for him.

Why my cousin, valerie is laughin? Oh dear!

Marching out the funeral hall

A 10-15 mins walk and it's another respect for the dead.

This band costs RM5k

It's darn hot on the sepulcher site. And it is the TeoChew Tomb. A few hectars. Blured the background so it is not really distrubed.

And it's pretty darn to hand the jostick. I still remember I use jostick to play firecrackers.

End of funeral ceremony. Throwing flowers! After the funeral. There's more to go. Just not too post too much of these. I noticed 1 thing, that is relatives who had been far away united in this funeral. And some I didn't even know them they are my so called relative. Oh well...

Oh ya.. the song I am playing now is included in the video I have designed. Name of the song is "Echoes". This song was picked from the NASA website, A tribute to the Columbia team back in 2002 which acidentally blew off on the sky, on the way back to earth. The song is touching and tears, sorrow are felt when you listen.

Do you have moles?

Moles and what they say about you

Does mole on your face means anything to you. Now heres something that you might be interested of, the Almanac. Just peep on the mirror and see you have such lovely mole or not? HAHA! Bet ya love the description given =D

The Chinese Almanac, also known as the Tung Shu, is commonly known as a book of auspicious and inauspicious dates, but there is so much more to the Tung Shu than that. It is a vast mine of information relating to astrology, codes and symbols, derived by the wise sages and philosophers of ancient China. In this issue, we bring to you the secrets from the almanac regarding moles on your face and what they mean depending on which part of your face they appear.

First, check your face for any moles, and then look at the diagram above to identify the number(s) that are a closest match to the moles on your face. Usually, the moles only hold meaning for you if they are prominent and they are the only one. If your face if full of spots, acne or "little" moles, they do not count. When you've ascertained which position corresponds to the mole on your face, look up the meanings listed by numbers below.

Position 1 to 3
As a child, you are somewhat rebellious and a free spirit. You have an innate creativity and work best when you are given a free hand. Generally, your superiors like your avante garde approach to life. If you have a mole here, you are far better off in business and being your own boss rather than working for somebody. What is promising is that you have the luck to be your own boss.

Position 4
You are an impulsive person, often acting with a flamboyance that gives you charisma and a sparkling personality, but you can be difficult when there are too many opinions. You tend to be rather argumentative, but never to the point of holding grudges. This mole tends to give you an explosive temper and should you decide to remove it, you will find yourself becoming calmer and more at peace with the world.

Position 5
A mole above the eyebrow indicates that there is wealth luck in your life, but you will need to earn it and work harder than most people. All the income you make must be carefully kept as there are people who are jealous of you who might attempt to sweet talk you into parting with your wealth. Be wary of those who try to interest you in get-rich-quick schemes. If you have a mole here, it is advisable not to be too trusting of others. Follow your instincts and be cautious. And never allow other people to control your finances.

Position 6
A mole here indicates intelligence, creativity and skill as an artist. Your artistic talent can bring you wealth, fame and success. It also indicates wealth luck, but this can only be fully realized if you follow your heart rather than stick to conventional means of making a living. Success will come if you are brave.

Position 7
Moles under the eyebrows indicate arguments within the extended family that cause you grief and unhappiness. This will affect your work and livelihood. It is advisable to settle any differences you have with your relatives if you want peace of mind to move ahead.

Position 8
This is not a very good position for a mole. Your financial position will constantly be under strain because of a tendency to overspend. You also have a penchant for gambling. The only thing is you must know when to stop. Meanwhile, someone with a mole here has a tendency to flirt with members of the opposite sex as well as with the same sex. Better be a little discerning where you exert your charms, or you might get into trouble.

Position 9
This mole position suggests sexual and other problems. It is an unfortunate mole and you are well advised to get rid of it. It brings a litany of woes and a parade of problems.

Position 10
A mole here just under the nose indicates excellent descendants luck. You are surrounded by family at all times and will have many children and grandchildren. You have the support of those close to you and will be both materially and emotionally fulfilled.

Position 11
Moles here suggest a tendency to succumb to illness. It is a good idea to have this mole removed especially if it is a large, dark-coloured mole. Otherwise use lots of foundation to cover it.

Position 12
A mole here foretells a successful but also a very balanced life. You are likely to be not just rich, but famous as well. But although you have every opportunity to live the high life, you will have a satisfying home and family life as well. Women with moles here are particularly lucky and tend to be beautiful and glamourous as well.

Position 13
Your children will be a big worry in your life. Your relationship with them is not good. There is nothing much you can do about this except to learn some tolerance.

Position 14
A mole here suggests a vulnerability to food which can be a big problem in your life. You may have allergies against certain foods or you may simply be eating too much.

Position 15
You are a person always on the move and constantly renovating and redesigning your house. You like to be introduced to new things and see new places. You are not happy if you remain in one place for long. You enjoy travel and adventure, and have a very observant eye.

Position 16
You need to be careful when it comes to eating, and also when it comes to your sex life. These are your two biggest problems. You tend to have weight issues which can make you depressed. You enjoy romance, sometimes with more than one person, but because you are a person with some morality, you will feel guilty about it and this will cause you much stress.

Position 17
You will be someone of great social prominence. You are active on the social scene and an excellent conversationalist. There is a tendency to become bigheaded about your success, which could lose you your good name. This will affect you deeply because you draw your confidence and self worth from what others think of you.

Position 18
You are a person always on the move. There is a great deal of overseas travel in your life, but you should take extra care each time you cross the great waters, as your mole prefers you to stay at home.

Position 19
You have money luck and many good friends, so this is a good mole to have. Your weakness is that you tend to succumb to the charms of the opposite sex. In your life, it is this that could get you into hot water, so do cool your ardour!

Position 20
A mole here can be very lucky or very unlucky. If you have a mole here, you are destined either for extreme fame or infamy. You have great flair for creativity and are also highly intelligent, but your talents can be used for both good and bad. You are not a person to be trifled with for you are no pushover and do not forgive and forget easily. This mole is a mark of someone who will go down in history either as a great or as a tyrant.

Position 21
This is a good mole, as it suggests plenty to eat and drink throughout your life. This mole also brings fame and recognition.

Position 22
Your life is always happy and things go smoothly for you. You could well become a sports superstar if you have the passion for it. Moles at the end of eyebrows also suggest a person of authority and power, so if you are the CEO of a company, you will do very well.

Position 23
You have a high IQ, and you are both brain smart and street smart. You have a highly-developed survival instinct and will lead a meaningful and long life. You will be active until a very old age and will have friends and family around you till the very end.

Position 24
You will achieve fame and fortune in your young age and you are advised to use this period to safeguard your old age, as people with moles here tend to have a harderlife as they get older.

Position 25
You will enjoy good prosperity and recognition luck, but do be careful of excesses. Stay traditional in your attitudes and you will have a long and fruitful life.

My Ding Dong Day

After Work

Around 1 P.M, I rushed to the bus stop to MRT station and the sky seemed like no helping me after all. Shower drops from the sky touched my forehead. It was so daunting to run under the rain... as you might end up having a headache or dizziness.... I collapsed on my bed after I reached home @ 8P.M. My head is aching. SleepzzzZzzzzz till Today morning!

Meeting up fren'

Oh... back to the story. Comeon it took me less than half an hour to reach Plaza Sing and I bumped on my fren and she just SMS me. LMAO. What a coincidence! But my perut really hungry ar.. So we set off for lunch. But she've some voucher.. it's AGAIN, gonna be Burger King....

Eww... but it's delicious =D My chicken sandwich... Can't imagine why Kuching don't have such mouth watering western food? 2 bad uh!~

After that, I brought her to look for handphones and Handphones here is like selling meat balls. Cheap like longkau rubbish since you have to sign up their pet plans for 2 years in order to gain such privillages. Then, we moved to more crowded place, Orchard... and more Telcos' over there so my fren could simply made her choice of which phone to take.

Along Orchard, as usual you can see tourists from around the globe but just one thing this street had cons on it, 12 A.M midnight will be totally desserted compared to Hong Kong's Kowloon, which is still running their night life, Oh I missed the food @ Kowloon and never got the chance to try the Chau Tao fu or Taufu Busuk... Kekekke.... I'm coming soon.. Hong Kong!

Oh ya where am i? Er... yah. Orchard is crowded. The booth are setup to have more and more business on the street. Orchard was once a plantation and today, it turned out to be one of the famous shopping hub in Asia, thanks to LKY's fengshui master. I wonder when Kuching got such Ministry Menthor to create such path like Singapore?

Look at the hip-hop shoes... $29 dollars? Dear.. Thailand product sold so high. Well, that's business. I can get $5 for a pair in Thailand. LOL!

I had my eyes wide open when i saw this!

Man, free CLEO products for every captured of their post!

Are they gonna show up in next CLEO magazine? Perhaps not.. I don see any CHIO gals down there! hehe!

As I passed by, I saw a signage that's similar to my friend's name. MAC! My friend told me to take a picture and send to her. Well, here it is... I love the fonts. It's simply eye glittering! and looks tech as well.

A nice piece of art.

Hey hey, french connection (FCUK) but i usually pronounce FUCK. Man, all these shops are based on first stage design planning methodology before showing up to the public. My current company is doing this business as well. Interior design. I think Kuching should also be more conservative and have this aspect before putting their image to the public in order to boost up sales and attract more international investors and customers. Bah~

Now let's get into something intersting. Pink Cotton is rather amuse with the toy toy stuff. So I'm gonna post this! It's about toys!!!!! We have this Toy Fair @ Takashimaya and I tell you. It's packed and I also saw teenages like us bought those toy toy stuff. Of course, parents will move into this big arena for their kids. (I don like toys, just let u see how much different it can get when it comes to CLEAR STOCK!) =D

This is it!

Look @ the crowd!

I bet this is more cute than the MacD 1s'

Let's take a pic!

ET! My favourite~

Yeah yeah. I know. Humble Puppies~

NAH!!!!! A lot right? Only $15. I guess.

Bag full of pupie... Er $ 10?

Someone must be thristing for this!

The Irritating Ding Ding Frog~

So innocent! Kekekek! Pet lovers out thereeeee!!!!!

Well, guess u have a nice browse there? So what are you waiting for? LOL. Teleport over here and buy! Kekeek!

Well, after my windows shopping.... I settled down at Jade Kitchen. Uhm uhm~~
My friend have this shredded duck noodle. Looks gross right but when u eat it, OMG!! U NEVER EAT THIS BEFORE AND U WANT MORE!!!!!! haha!

Shredded duck crispy noodle $9 dollars

while I have this! WONTON Noodle.. The wonton is nice with ginger, meat and vege mix together. but unfortunately the hand-made noodle is not my type... mm.... $6 dollars

This is pancake with fried beancurd + shallot. The taste and feel is just like beijing duck with dough. MmmmMMmmmmMm.........

Okay I think that's it for this weekend while I'm enjoyin my noodle here. Feeling better by now. LOL laterzZz...
