Airasia Bomb Hoax

I heard Airasia today, Kuching Airport, got a bomb hoax on 737 plane and evacuate 100+ passengers immediately. Bomb Defuse Experts claimed it to be a hoax and found no trace of any explosive threads.

If you are inside a plane, don't ever mention this sensitive word "BOMB". People will start panic and you are really in a fagging big trouble! The plane delayed 6 hours or so for inspection. Well, if you do have any news regarding this, please tell me. =) I just watched the news here in SG. Even SG reported Kuching, Sarawak news. HOW ODD!!!!

WooGA WooGA

I came across this funny article and it was damn funny! Please read the following. Be careful of choosing chinese names with christian names next time.

----------------------------------------------------------

Caller : Hello, can I speak to Annie Wan? ( anyone)

Operator : Yes, you can speak to me.

Caller : No, I want to speak to Annie Wan!

Operator : You are talking to someone! Who is this?

Caller : I'm Sam Wan (someone) And I need to talk to Annie Wan! It's urgent.

Operator : I know you are someone and you want to talk to anyone! But what's
this urgent matter about?

Caller : Well... just tell my sister Annie Wan that our brother Noel Wan ( no one ) was
involved in an accident. Noel Wan got injured and now Noel Wan is being
sent to the hospital. Right now, Avery Wan is on his way to the hospital.

Operator : Look if no one was injured and no one was sent to the hospital, then
the accident isn't an urgent matter! You may find this hilarious but I don't
have time for this!

Caller : You are so rude! Who are you?

Operator : I'm Saw Lee. (sorry)

Caller : Yes! You should be sorry. Now give me your name!!

----------------------------------------------------------

But I say both these caller and operator are silly and stupid! HAHA!

And here are some of my daily routines.

Upgrade Kuching?

I bet a lot of Kuching[nese] are desperate for the on-going development of SARAWAK's so called largest, two storey mall, coming our way, in our region. This 700,000sqf structure with 340,000sqf available for sale (shops) could attract tourists attention. Okay. To what extend the tourist will go to Jalan Simpang Tiga whereas Kuching's was contemporary and transportation is another major issue.

Scenario I
A tourist who just arrived Kuching Airport planning to shop in the new mall.

Tourists : "Excuse me sir, could you take me to the mall?"
Taxi Driver : "Yes, ok. Come Come."
After 25 minutes...
Taxi Driver : "Okay, here is the mall."
Tourists : "What? This is the mall? I thought a mall is relatively larger than this building!"
Taxi Driver : "Uh~ Uh~. Ai!! shopping @ Saberkas is the best liao. I shop here for more than 20 years LA."
Tourist : "Sigh."

Scenario II
A rich tourist who just arrived Kuching Airport planning to shop in the new mall.

Tourists : "Excuse me sir, could you take me to the mall?"
Taxi Driver : "Ok. MASUK."
After 18 minutes...
During the journey, the driver dig his nose. The passenger O_O
Taxi Driver : "Okay, here is the mall."
Tourists : "WOW, this is a huge mall, since I last came to kuching 5 years ago."
After 2 hours of shopping...
Tourists : "Where can I take a cab? Man, these shopping bags are heavy and the cabbies are dirty! I see a lot of locals driving their own vehicle. How I wish I have 1."
The tourists decide to take the bus but how would she know which bus to take to city and the bus is too filthy to sit on while there is no MRT around. She have no choice but to call 999 to seek help.

Then I noticed a few sentences.

True! Kuching people are mad about shopping I tell you. I have a friend who even go KL's IKEA to buy a cute stool and took all the way from KL-KUCHING with 10 shopping bags. Irene ahem.... AHAHAHAHA! Look at the girls.. RM600-RM700 of cosmetics. Thanks to the MLM A-Z >.> But Malaysians don't really like make up lae (in Singapore) and it's true that Sarawakians AI SUI NIA!

Yes and untill today they realized Kuching people demanding more? On the way of improving ones' lifestyle? 10 shopping centres? Not as shopping centre as I thought! Saberkas? Wisma Hopoh? Wisma Satok? Kuching Plaza, the going-to demolish building, Sarawak Plaza, Tun Jugah (so called modern shopping complex), Kenyalang. Ayuh COMEON. These are limited shopping scums with no variety at all.Klang Valley increased from 51 to 108? WTF? Klang Valley is only a small portion of Kuching and yet there's 108 shopping centres?
Now look back on Kuching's election, would that relect you something?

Yes, a lot a lot a lot! A lot of'em going Singapore and KL to shop. More choices --> Tokyo and Hong Kong for the seasonal sales. Kuching really really really really needs to catch up. You see, peninsular (all states) are so well-invest while we, ???? resources being transferred over for development purpose. Oh please, be fair and equity will them? We're demanding and after all, without Sarawak, there's no KL.

南京大屠杀 Nanking's Carnage (Death Pit)

Fear reigns the chinese territory during the 2nd World War in the early 90s' (1937-1938). This massive event should not be faded in our minds as the Japanese are evolving terrorism fears / carnage onto the land of China. Millions of chinese suffered / living under a critical condition lacking of food; majority of them excavate underground food (permanant) like yam as the grains, meats, vegetables were pretty hard to acquire. The havoc causes jitter and most of the locals decided to move to Chongqing (重庆), so as the chinese government.

The Downfall (Click here for larger image) See how the Japanese did to the Chinese

Japan invasion on China and Asia was to conquer their lands. Pearl Harbour Bombing on 7 December 1941 was shocking incident for the Americans on that time. Tons of navy died on that chaotic morning. America was unprepared on that time and considerably weakened, eventually was abruptly brought into the Second World War as a full combatant. The States Army Air Forces later dropped the nuclear weapon "Little Boy" on the city of Hiroshima, followed three days later by the detonation of the "Fat Man" bomb over Nagasaki, Japanon the morning of August 6, 1945. Click here for related stories. By then, the 2nd Atomic Bomb released in Nagasaki had brought an end to the World War II.

Between December 1937 and March 1938 at least 369,366 Chinese civilians and prisoners of war were slaughtered by the invading troops. An estimated 80,000 women and girls were raped; many of them were then mutilated or murdered.

On today's Japanese society and education field, theses historical event was not published or even mentioned on the history / text book. It's ashame of them not to do so. Protestant from around Asia deny Japan's act on the World World 2. Current Japan's Prime Minister, Junichiro Koizumi made several visit to the War Shrine on respect to the warriors of the 2nd World War which has marked a denial / red dot from CHINA and other Asian countries.

"日本首相 小泉纯一郎 (Junichiro Koizumi) 和他的前任们参拜供奉二战日本战犯的靖国神社的行动引起了中国和其他亚洲国家的强烈不满"

In Japanese culture, these are remarkable warriors who had fought their life and defending & glorify their country. Every country do have thier own warrior to be honoured with but these Japanese warrior were cold blooded to be honoured instead. For us, they are not just an animal (during the World War 2,) but a Culprit to other nation's death! Recently, the Japanese King, had made a sympathy statement of the World War II victims throughout Asia in order to tighten foreign countries relationship.

The victims who survived in Nanking's Carnage

The pit with unidentified bones

Stage of Pray

These has been a memorial meseum for the tribute

It means "Death Pit for thousands"

Bones with numbers. There should be more beneath

An artist drawing an illustration of the scene on that time. The woman on the left was one of the victims from the incident which she cannot forget throughout her entire life. She was showing her shoulder where the japanese stabbed her with a gun-knife.

The illustration

300,000 people died in 1937-1938. Might have more!

A skull remains unidentified

Just before I explored deeper, I came through a drama series which is also related to these Nanking incident. I simply couldn't imagine how those chinese suffered on that time. You would feel pity for them and how fortunate we are nowadays, a relief of aftermath. Can you imagine how our grandpa and grandma or their mother / father had gone through all these? Sad to acknowledged if you are the next generation from the past victims.

Click on the following to start the video / mv. This new drama is called "War & Destiny". Now release in stores nationwide (Malaysia) and overseas other than Hong Kong. Kkekekee. A touching chaotic romance story from Nanking incident. A must see drama!

Click HERE to view high definition and smooth timeline for this video (3.93MB).

In the video, you will notice the pit filled with red and that is the scene that I've mentioned above and I like the scene when a guy walking down the stairs and aeroplane flying above with the chorus sang. Do check out these part I mention. =D Hope you enjoy this historical post.

Cheers~
