Happy Deepavali

Wow, it's one of the sweetest event of the year, the hindu's new year! दीवाली, Happy Diwali! Okay I have no hindu friends around, and feel shy to drop down a stranger's house for new year celebration. haha! But hor, the hindu snacks are awsome! I've tried once. Preety-kampung-like-flavoured.

Little India with peacock lighting design. Looks the same every year?

Singapore are full of Hindus because wherever you are,
Inde Inde Inde Chakar Pu Kei yi Nar.....
Where are they from? INDIA OF COURSE! Their culture are unique and therefore, the Elephant-like statue is their god! Cow is their god as well so they (majority) don't take beef -- These goes the same for some Buddhism. Kekekeke! Too bad beef really taste good on chew! Hmm....

Sarawak also got hindus, but their celebration are being stealthed! Why it isn't fair to our fellow sarawakians to celebrate such event? Treated these as equal? Hmmmm. Dayak lands always got restriction especially being governed by 'white head'.
Fair & Square, Singapore is unlike Malaysia, they do have different types of celebrations here. Oh, in terms of lighting, they (the government here) won the heart of millions.

Oh, hope Robin don't mind if I steal his picture! hahaha! Here is the Hari Raya lighting @ Old Changi Airport Road / nearby Geylang.

Hmm Hindu's are majority dark in colour, so whenever you're somewhere dark, you see this 2eyes starring at you, don't be afraid! It's HINDU!

Well, hope everyone enjoy and have a wonderful happy holiday no matter where you are! Happy Deepavali and Selamat Hari Raya. ew, hari raya getting earlier every year!!! Looks like there is the possibility to celebrate Hari Raya on the skies of May or June (One Day). Ahem... Pity Sarawak & Sabah! hehe!
